Our Story
The founder, Fabian Conteron Remache, was born in Ecuador. In 1990, Fabian embarked on a journey with no set destination, eventually arriving in the Netherlands and beginning a tour across Europe. Initially working alongside musicians on the streets, Fabian was inspired by a desire to share his culture and roots with others. This led to the idea of bringing the crafts from his hometown to a broader audience. Commerce became a means of survival, and from this need, the project known as URBANOMANO—handmade urban products—was born.
